Education
   I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. I earned my PA Teacher Certification in Biology and General Science from Saint Vincent College. I pursued a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. I also completed credits from Gannon University to earn my PA K-12 Principal Certification. 
 
Work Experience 
   Early in my professional career, I worked as a science teacher at the Dr. Robert Ketterer Charter School in Latrobe, PA for 5.5 years and McKeesport School District for .5 year. I was hired at Derry Area School District in 2004 to teach 7th grade science and 9th grade Earth Science as a long term substitute teacher. At the end of the 2004-2005 school year, I was hired full time to teach 7th grade science and 10th grade Biology.
  In the 2009-2010 school year, I was transferred to become the High School Dean of Students. Since that time, I was transferred to the Middle School where I held the Dean of Students position and the Associate Principal position. In February 2015, I was hired by the School Board as the Middle School Principal.
