Education/Degree/Certifications: I attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6).
Department(s)/Course(s) Taught/Grade(s): I have taught ELA, Math, and Social Science in 3rd and 4th grade. Currently I teach 4th grade Math.
Work History/Background: Throughout my 8 years at Grandview, I have taught 3rd and 4th grade. I spent the 2013-2014 school year as a day-to-day substitute in various grades and a long-term substitute in 4th grade. I was hired as a full-time teacher in 2014 and spent 3 years in 3rd grade. I taught ELA, Math, and Social Science during that time. I took a full- year maternity leave in 2017 after having my second child. I returned to Grandview as a 4th grade ELA teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. My role switched at the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year to 4th grade math. I am currently teaching 4th grade math for the 2020-2021 school year.
