Do I need a separate PowerSchool account for each student?
No, you only need one "parent" account to access all of your students' information and enrollments. Instructions to add a newly enrolling student into an existing account are included in the video above. If you already have multiple accounts for multiple students, reach out to the school and we can consolidate them for you if you wish.
Once I complete the Pre-Registration Form, am I done?
No. The Pre-Registration Form creates your PowerSchool account. Once you create an account and login to PowerSchool, you must complete all 11 forms (A. through K.) for enrollments under the Forms > Enrollment tab (NOT "General Forms"). Only after you see all green checkmarks under the Enrollment tab, you are done.
Can I just do a paper form?
No, all enrollments are digital to speed up the enrollment process and securely store all student data in one place. If you need assistance enrolling your child online, help is available through the school by appointment. Enrollment events are occasionally held by the school, so keep an eye on our website or Facebook page for announcements.
Do I put my information or my child's information on the forms?
The Pre-Registration will mostly be your information. After that, the Enrollment forms are your child's information.
What documents are needed for new enrollments?
You will need to upload or hand-deliver a) Birth Certificate b) TWO proofs of residency, and c) record of immunizations or an exemption statement for each child enrolling. If there is a court order involving the child, custody, or educational rights, we will need those on file as well. There is a document submission form in the enrollment process, or you may email central enrollment or hand-deliver the documents to the school before your child can start.
What are the "General Forms"? Do I need to complete them for a new enrollment?
These are not required for new enrollments. The "General Forms" (R1-R4 Forms) are for students already enrolled in the district, and are to be completed before each new school year. If your child is new to the district, they are not necessary now, but will be in the future.
I have a PowerSchool account for the school district my child is leaving. Can I just use that?
No, you will need a new PowerSchool account for our school. You may use the same email, username, and password for our system, but there is still an initial setup required. Though the platform is the same, each district has a unique instance of PowerSchool for their district. We cannot see other districts' information through our PowerSchool instance, and vise versa.
