Welcome from Mrs. Svetz!

Hi! I'm Mrs. Svetz, and I teach 1st grade at Grandview Elementary School.

I graduated in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in applied developmental psychology, and a master's degree in elementary education. I've been teaching ever since, working in some private schools and substitute teaching until I found my home here at Grandview! This is my first year with 1st grade, but my eighth year at Grandview. I was most recently teaching 5th grade, and I was previously in a PreK classroom here as well.
