Education Experience- I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) with a specialization in Reading. I student taught at Grandview Elementary, Saltsburg Elementary, and McKeever Environmental Center. 

 

Department- Current courses being taught: Derry Area MS- Reg. English and Adv. Eng. 6th grade.

 

Work History/Background- Early in my career, I was employed for Long-Term substitute positions at Saltsburg Elementary (grade 1), Grandview Elementary (grade 2), Derry Area MS (grade 6), and also Grandview Elementary (grade 5). I was then employed as a grade 5 teacher at Grandview for 7 years, prior to moving to 6th grade at Derry Area MS for the 2020-2021 school year. I have also had the opportunity to coach MS Girls Basketball (2 years), MS Boys Basketball (3 years), and MS Track and Field (3 years).
