hi boys and girls we're glad you can join us her story time my name is Bobby Jones I mean early childhood education liaison with the Derry Area School District now we're going to learn the Hello song for those of you that remember you can join in with us but if it's your very first time can you try and put your hand up by your eye and they're going to make a rainbow with it that means hello now if you take your two fingers and give them a hug again that means friends so let's try to do our hello song Freddy hello hello friend Hello friends it's time to say hello boys and girls it's time for our story in your resource bag is our story of the evening cats that are big also in your resource bag is an egg Shaker we're going to use both for storytime or story evening is written by Lucy Rollin she's the author she wrote the words of the story and the pictures were John Vienna attorney shova when you're ready get your story and your egg Shaker and will begin parents if your child is old enough you may encourage them to turn the pages on their own if they're not old enough they can shake the egg when it's time to turn the pages learning to turn pages in a story is a very good book handling skills that will help children when they are learning to read can you play Poison Girl I found a mystery basket inside is Mystery. I think we're going to find an our story that egg let's take a look what's inside our basket I'll give you a clue our very first item and it makes a noise can you guess what it is Peppa Pig it's going to be a pig and our story let's see what else this animal is black and white and they saw you sound so you think it is Air Patrol come give okay let's see what else is inside this boy is so fluffy and he makes her animal makes up sound you got it it's so fluffy dog okay let's see what else is inside here Terrence White animal and his Woolly and fluffy and makes the sound like this animal is lamb or sheep because there is the Lamb is the baby animal of a sheep so both of these will be in Dory find out what they do that's not all yellow animal and it has feathers and if animals that that you got it it's a chick or chicken all right we also have another animal our other animal usually pretty small some families have them in their homes to it's not a dog because like this what animal makes a sound cat in our story okay if you remember our story is called at that egg Leonard story it's not an animal but it's nice and round Easter egg oh my goodness I want to hear what we're going to find happens to this egg in our store let's find out all right on our very first page it says swap it was a bunny with the most enormous his friends could hear him coming with his very bouncy beat he like to skip he like to Hawk he like to jump around and he loved the boy noises as a bounce along the ground but one day in Hillsboro At the Hop to cross the floor his mom said stupid I can't take it anymore you're making such a racket the Flop it but I'll find my friends and hopped on his way which chicken was too busy she had guarding lots of eggs when flop became a jumping on his long and hot leg chicken said you're noisy feet will take them my eggs are very precious it's important not to break them Shiva she was with her sleepy land all curled up in the hay with floppy came a skipping and a hobbit up that day stop it flopping butter sheet you're making such a din hop-off tour cowshed now and see if cow is in your page Swiss cows with her baby cows and looked a little busy when flop it came a hopping by and you're feeling dizzy stupid flopping the cow they're learning how to walk your bouncy isn't helping and I haven't time to talk sloppy tried his other friends but dog and cat and pig said stop it quiet now your Cedar Chest too big lollipop the way I only want to play Freddy and turn it wasn't too long later that the bunny hopped along it hurts and noisy shouting he thought there's something wrong he stopped and watched and waited and then he saw a cow running past her calf or chicken egg and I need to find out what happened that exit quickly down the hill and tell ramp a swap it for chicken yelled but no cow couldn't stop it the egg roll past the big barn doors for sheep stud just inside the cow cried out he's going to break she cried wolf half dog roll top canopy bed the Yoda Pig it flew right past Pig's head oh my goodness up and up infant falling through this guy from luckily the animal soft Lockett hopping by such bouncy such happy legs was he the one that stopped it they pointed towards the egg and shouted ready to see if we find out Saturday Hobbit craft down really low and with one Mighty jump he sprang up high and caught the Egg Atlanta with his friends hip hip hooray for puppet and his very bouncy seat stop it. So proud but they began to shake little then the show began to break he rushed the egg to chicken but he tripped up on his feet the egg flew slowly through the air and landed with an a pizza find out I had popped out then too small legs and a chicken shouted left his friends you got the catch fat chick turn the key the end boys and girls can you find your egg Shaker in your resources opposites oh my goodness did you see what I see it's the bunny bunny did you come to do opposites with us kissing girls how exciting the bunnies here to do opposites okay bunny you do the opposite with the boys and girls the bunny has his eggs do you have price of opposites with the bunnies can you put your egg in all the bunny put his egg in the basket can you take your egg out nice job let's do the opposite of what is the opposite of up try to give you a hint let's do this one in Friends the opposite of confront is behind can you shake your Egg bath what's the opposite of gas slow can you put your egg over your head what's the opposite of over how about under funny would you mind staying while we do a little run thank you bunny I'm with the bunny boys and girls follow the bunny for a rhyme turn around can you turn around with the bunny touch the ground wonderful I need funny reach up high touch the sky bunny bunny find your nose funny funny touch your toes nose and Toes rhyme bunny Hutch friends and home do you know where your knees are I need funny sit down please boys and girls the bunny would like you to join him oh you'd like to do the bunny poke boys and girls would you please stand up enjoying the bunny for the bunny poke follow alone you put your ear and you put your ears out you put your ears in and you shake them all about you do the bunny Pokey and you hop up and down that's what it's all about can you find your paws friends you put your paws in you put your paws out you put your paws in and you shake them all about the bunny Pokey and U-Haul that's what it's all about time you put your nose in your nose you put your nose in and you say get all about ready you put your tail in your tail out you put your tail in and you shake it all about you do the bunny Pokey and you hop up and down that's what it's all about whiskers everybody let's put our whiskers in you put your whiskers in you put your whiskers out you put your Winters in and you shake them all about you do the Bonnie Pokey and you hop up and down.
